Reversing Cameras

Three eyes see more.

Always in the picture

Reversing is a tricky business, especially when you are not able to see what is behind you. Whether a car, truck, bus, motorhome or mobile market stall, as soon as you engage reverse gear there are risks everywhere: children playing, tight parking spaces, unfamiliar loading ramps and a whole host of un-foreseen dangers...

Accidents while reversing often have serious consequences. This applies especially to utility vehicles. Even strictly adhering to the traffic regulations cannot always prevent dangerous accidents. Not to mention that sometimes such situations are practically unavoidable.

With a MOBITRONIC reversing camera system you will approach difficult reversing manoeuvres with the peace of mind to be able to see from the front what is happening behind your vehicle. You can also monitor what is happening inside your vehicle or trailer, and, depending on the system, you can record the pictures using a connected video recorder.

This is where MOBITRONIC reversing cameras come in. Giving a clear overview of what is happening behind the vehicle, they proactively improve road traffic safety. At the same time, they help comply with German road traffic law, which stipulates that "suitable equipment” needs to be installed to prevent dangers to persons while reversing.

Three eyes see more than two
Unknown terrain, no window in the back and no assistant to guide you in. The outside mirrors won’t help either. No problem because the outside camera at the vehicle rear allows the driver to see the loading ramp or parking space and thus reverse safely and without external help.
Everything in view – outside and inside
Even bus drivers only have two eyes. Too few to have everything under control: the road traffic outside, and the noisy swarm of children inside. Situations can occur in which vehicles driving too close behind you are completely hidden in the blind spot...

... The camera mounted on the rear helps to avoid unwanted breaks, while the inside camera keeps a watchful eye on the passengers. In some systems, the inside camera can be combined with a video recorder, which makes an incorruptible witness in unpleasant situations.

For tough
requirements

Noise, vibrations and rockfalls are all part of the working day, manoeuvring in extremely confined spaces an every-day challenge. Damaging the vehicle or other property will harm one’s good reputation and wallet. So it does make sense to invest in the new heavy-duty reversing video system by WAECO. It was tailor-made for construction machinery, municipal vehicles and other tough requirements. Protected to IP 69L standards, the heavy-duty camera RV-26 will even resist the high pressure cleaner.

Reversing Cameras for everyone

Depending on the technology of your reversing video system, the monitor delivers pictures in black/white or in colour; the camera comes with integrated heating and/or sunshield, or with a motor-driven, automatic cover to prevent soiling of the camera lens. MOBITRONIC serves the outdoor and mobile home market with a choice of variants: the RV-100 "classic”, the RV-400 available in various options (with b/w camera, b/w camera and shutter, or with colour camera) as well as the multimedia talents, RV-650 and RV-700.

Seeing from the front
what’s happening behind

Drivers of motorhomes and caravans enjoy the privilege of endless mobility and flexibility. When it comes to reversing, they are faced with all the typical risks. Whether in tight parking spaces or on difficult territory, reversing always involves the chance of damaging one’s own vehicle or other property. That kind of holiday souvenir often entails enormous repair costs, or worse, third party claims.
With a MOBITRONIC reversing camera system you will face all reversing manoeuvres far better equipped. With the monitor on the dashboard and the camera at the back of your motorhome, you have everything in sight with comfortable viewing angles of approx. 80 degrees horizontally and 55 to 60 degrees vertically. Depending on the camera position, you will get up to 80 per cent more view compared to the conventional rear- and outside mirror system.

High means wide –
the camera technology for outdoors

Mount the outside camera of your MOBITRONIC reversing video system at the top end of the vehicle’s rear. The higher the camera is placed the wider the viewing angle for you.

For extra safety:
the additional inside camera

You can easily connect an additional inside camera to your MOBITRONIC reversing video system. Depending on the , the connection is made either directly to the monitor or by means of a switchbox. Playing children, four-legged passengers, interior furnishing – you will always have a full view of what is happening in the
vehicle without losing sight of the road.
